(WKYT) – A Pulaski County woman is $50,000 richer thanks to a quick errand.
Shenea Wallin of Nancy stopped at the Midland Farms in Somerset and found herself a winner after buying a Kentucky Lottery scratch-off ticket.
“When I saw the winnings, I thought there’s no way that’s wrong,” Wallin said.
She confirmed the amount of her win with a Midland Farms clerk and did the first thing every lottery winner should do.
“I immediately signed the back of the ticket,” Wallin said.
Wallin took home over $36,000 after taxes and calls the win a blessing.
“We’ll pay off bills, and we really don’t know what to do with the rest yet. We’ve been blessed in life, and this is just another blessing,” she said.
