The Wayne County Cardinals picked up a district road victory Friday night, defeating the Russell County Lakers 41-25 in Russell Springs. The win improved Wayne County to 4-4 on the season, while Russell County dropped to 0-8.
With the victory, the Cardinals will turn their attention to a home matchup against Boyle County this Friday.
