Stuart Finley Chriswell was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on January 26, 1977, and passed from this life on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the age of 49. He was the beloved son of the late Bobby Lee Chriswell and Lois Ann (Bell) Chriswell.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donyale Chriswell; his daughter, Maddy Royalty (Raymone Linsey); his son, Ethan Royalty (Emily Kramer); his brothers, Darin Chriswell (Chasidy) and Tyler (Aubree) Chriswell; his mother-in-law, Dora Ray Gossage, who was like a mother to him; two honorary fathers, Doug Bell and Perry Elam; and honorary mother: Randy Elam. He is also survived by many family members and friends who will cherish his memory and mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Lee Chriswell and Lois Ann (Bell) Chriswell. Also, his father-in-law, Donald Gossage.
Stuart loved and cherished his family and the time he spent with them. He was baptized at New Hope Baptist in 1988, a commitment that shaped his faith throughout his life. Even in death, he continued to help others as an organ and tissue donor. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, and he will be deeply missed.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
