of Monticello, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Wayne County Hospital in Monticello, Kentucky having attained the age of age 83 years, 3 months, and 10 days. He was born on Monday, June 28, 1943, in Clinton County, Kentucky, the son of the late Willie “Bill” & Jewell (Guffey) Malone. He was of the Christian faith and worked as a building contractor for many years. Levi had made Wayne County his home for over ten years, coming from Florida. He was a member of the VFW and served as an Honor Guard in the DAV Chapter #105. In his free time, Levi enjoyed playing pool and bingo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Malone, Melvin Malone, and Joseph Malone; sister, Maxine M. Keith; and grand-daughter, Susan.

Simmons of Georgia, and Donald Malone of Monticello, Kentucky; siblings, Jacob “Jake” (& Helen) Malone, Virgil Malone, Jesse Malone, and Velta Gregory; grandchildren, Alyssa, Destiny, Carrie, Sarah, Bryson, Joshua, Morgan, Aaron, Cody, Jesi, Baylee, Tyler; grandson-in-law, Aubrey Merritt; great-grandchildren, Luca, Jasper, Robin, Axel, Bradley, Blakely, Julian, Major, Emma and Ellie; and many other family and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. in the Memory Chapel of New’s Monticello Funeral Home, with Bro. Terry Munsey and Bro. Kelven Upchurch officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 12, 2026, after 6:00 P.M., and again on Tuesday morning until the funeral hour. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Military Honors will be provided by the DAV Chapter #105 of Monticello, Kentucky.
