City Council met is Special Session

The Monticello City Council met in special session Thursday. Items of business included the leasing of two fully equipped police vehicles with the option to least up to three more. Also, consent was given to apply for over $200,000 in grant funding that if approved would improve the walking trail at memorial park and provide for a five mile trail to be constructed.
