(WKYT) – Gov. Andy Beshear ordered all state buildings to lower their flags to half-staff in honor of overdose victims.
Beshear says the day is a time to remember Kentuckians lost, and to provide support to people and families still struggling with addiction.
Beshear’s mansion will be lit in purple in support of overdose awareness.
Flags were already at half-staff until Tuesday in honor of Dolly Parton after her passing last week.
