(WKYT) – The Kentucky Blood Center is honoring the late Dolly Parton with an upcoming blood drive.
The blood center said that this coming Friday, Sept. 4, people can “Donate Like Dolly” at any of its locations.
Donors will receive a commemorative T-shirt featuring a design inspired by the singer.
For every donation, KBC said that it will donate $5 to Parton’s Imagination Library.
Rhinestones are welcome and encouraged, KBC said.
Most KBC donor locations are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You must be 17 years of age to donate.
