Monticello Man arrested for allegedly spiking chocolate milk with methamphetamine

L(WKYT) – A man has been arrested after allegedly drugging chocolate a milk container, endangering five people.

Lexington police say camera footage at an address on Loudon Avenue showed 34-year-old Eric Rhule, of Monticello, putting an unknown substance, believed to be methamphetamine, into a container filled with chocolate milk.

According to authorities, at least five people drank from the container and got sick. Rhule was questioned by his probation officer, and was allegedly found in possession of suboxone and methamphetamine. Rhule was then taken into custody.

Rhule is charged with:

  1. Five counts of wanton endangerment (second degree)
  2. Trafficking of a controlled substance (first offense, less than 2 grams of methamphetamine)
  3. Possession of a controlled substance (second degree)
