The Monticello Police Department responded to a two-vehicle injury collision on Highway 3106 (Old 90).
Upon arrival, Major Smith conducted an on-scene investigation and observed multiple indicators that one of the drivers was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. As a result of the investigation, Lisa Dobbs was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol First Degree.
Major Smith was assisted at the scene by Officer Smedley.
The Monticello Fire Department and Wayne County EMS also responded and provided medical assistance and scene support.
