(WKYT) – A state education official is facing a DUI charge.
An arrest citation for Kelly Foster, 52, says she was arrested late last Thursday in Montgomery County.
Foster bonded out of jail on Friday.
According to her arrest citation, Foster told police she was a “big wig” and “operates the board of education for the state under Governor Andy Beshear.”
The Kentucky Department of Education’s website lists Foster as the associate commissioner in the Office of Continuous Improvement and Support.
WKYT reached out to KDE but they did not wish to comment on this story.
Foster is scheduled to be arraigned next Monday.
