Official Announcement from Sheriff Bobby Jones
Sheriff Bobby Jones and the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office are pleased to announce the addition of Deputy Matthew Walker to our office. Deputy Walker was officially sworn in by Sheriff Jones on August 31, 2026, marking the beginning of his service with Pulaski County.
Deputy Walker began his career at the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, starting as Baliff for the courts. Deputy Walker completed his basic training at the Department of Criminal Justice Academy in February of 2025.
Deputy Walker is married and is the proud father of three children. We are excited to welcome him and his family to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office family.
