(WKYT) – The Kentucky Blood Center will be hosting a blood drive at the Whitley County Back to School Ready Fest.
Whitley County School District’s Back to School Ready Fest allows parents of preschoolers and kindergarteners to get vision screeners, speech screeners, physicals and dental exams for their children.
Incoming students can also meet their preschool teachers and take part in kindergarten readiness activities.
KBC will be set up from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, at Whitley County Intermediate School. To donate, people must provide a Photo ID.
All donors will receive a limited-edition “Only you can prevent blood shortages” T-shirt and a $15 Walmart gift card while supplies lasts.
