Fiscal Court Holds Monthly Meeting

Wayne County Fiscal Court met in special session Tuesday morning. The court discussed county road aid funds as the 2^nd payment from the state was less than expected due to funds from Kentucky’s motor vehicle fuel tax was less than expected. The county will need to amend funds down by $300,000 by the end of this fiscal year. Magistrates were given the proposed jail budget for FY 27’ totaling 2.7 million dollars.
