Rescue Squad responded to a boating Incident

On Thursday night at approximately 11:45 PM, the squad was paged out for a possible boat accident in the area between Camp Earl Wallace and Ramsey Point. Squad members responded and found a boat had run completely aground. The occupants were uninjured and transported back to Camp Earl’s ramp and later back to their campsite. Rescue Squad and Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife responding. Boat remains aground until it can be retrieved at a later date. Be safe on the water this Poker Run weekend and wear your life jackets.
