Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron and his staff would like to recognize and proud to announce Zachary Bybee as now becoming a Wayne County Sheriff Office Deputy. Today, May 29, 2025, Zachary was sworn in by the Honorable Sara Beth Gregory using the Constitution Oath of Office for Law Enforcement / Peace Officers and the special Oath of Office for Kentucky Deputy Sheriffs.
Zachary is a lifelong resident of Wayne County, married to Kailtin Bybee with one son. Zachary is a Certified Kentucky Peace Office which graduated after 20 weeks of training from the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Academy in Richmond, Kentucky in 2018. He has previously worked as a Peace officer with the Pulaski County Sheriff Office and the Monticello Police Department and will be a great asset to the Wayne County Sheriff Office.
