At 10:16 a.m. Tuesday (Mar 18) a three-vehicle collision occurred on KY 90, just west of Gregory Street injuring a Monticello man.
Sgt. Josh Smith’s investigation determined a 2003 GMC truck operated by Gary Garner, 70, of Monticello, was westbound when it rear-ended a 2003 Ford Escape operated by Thomas Golden, 56, of Monticello. The initial impact forced Golden’s vehicle forward and into the rear of a 2017 Jeep Cherokee operated by Sadie Martin, 26, also of Monticello.
Golden and Martin were not injured. Garner was transported by Wayne County EMS to the Wayne County Hospital for initial treatment and was later flown to the U.K. Medical Center.
