At 3:58 p.m. Tuesday (Mar 18) a single vehicle accident occurred on South Main Street resulting in injuries to a Monticello man.Sgt. Josh Smith’s investigation determined Donald Patton, 51, lost control of his 1994 Chevrolet truck while southbound, resulting in the truck crossing into oncoming traffic then leaving the roadway, striking concrete steps.
Patton was transported by Wayne County EMS to the Wayne County Hospital for initial treatment and was later transported by ambulance to the U.K. Medical Center.
