MPD CALLS FOR SERVICE MONDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2024
We share MPD’s activity report to help you have a better understanding of the number and types of calls our officers respond to daily. This serves as a quick overview of the previous date’s calls for service. It does not include every detail related to each incident or traffic stop.
6:15 a.m. – Business security checks, extra patrol overnight: Wayne County Health Department, Wayne County Museum and Creative Arts Studio. All secure, no issues discovered.
7:33 a.m. – School Zone patrols
11:13 a.m. – Wellbeing check requested for male on bench in front of Subway. Checked okay, no assistance needed.
3:53 p.m. – Two-vehicle collision, hit & run in Cumberland Crossing. Information for report taken. Attempting to locate vehicle that fled.
4:26 p.m. – Arrest made on active warrant on North Main Street.
6:38 p.m. – Request for officer at Family Dollar Store. Male inside store that has previously been trespassed from store/property.
Male had left premises prior to officer’s arrival.
9:21 p.m. – Traffic stop North Main Street. Driver checked okay.
9:36 p.m. – Traffic stop North Main Street. Verbal warning for moving violation.
10:14 p.m. – Foot patrol Walmart.
10:52 p.m. – Domestic dispute on Barrier Street. Verbal dispute. Advice given, legal options provided to both parties.
11:24 p.m. – Commercial alarm Tractor Supply Company. Building/premises checked okay.
