Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron reports the following arrests.
Billy L. Burke of Monticello, KY. was arrested on 5 Wayne County Circuit Court Warrants of Arrest for Probation Violation on the underlying charges of 5 counts of possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine), trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine), 2 counts of persistent felony offender-2nd degree (enhanced on each count), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, wanton endangerment-1st degree, driving on a driving under the influence suspended operator’s license and 2 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kristina Fountain of Monticello, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear for Arraignment on the underlying charge of false reporting an incident to Law Enforcement.
Burke was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center. Foutain was released from custody after posting a Bond.
