The Wayne County Cardinals Girls Basketball program is gearing up for an exciting season, inviting girls in grades K–5 to join the action. This year, the team will participate in the PCYBL Basketball League, offering young athletes a chance to learn the game, build skills, and represent Wayne County with pride.
Families interested in signing up are encouraged to attend an informational meeting on Saturday, August 8th at 10:00 AM in the Wayne County Middle School Gym. Coaches and organizers will be on hand to explain the season structure, answer questions, and welcome new players.
Practices will take place locally in Wayne County, while league games will be hosted in Pulaski County. The program is open to girls only, creating a supportive environment focused on teamwork, confidence, and fun.
Registration is $45 per child, with a discounted rate of $40 for each additional sibling. All forms must be submitted by August 14th to secure a spot for the upcoming season.
The Cardinals encourage all interested families to come learn more and help kick off another great year of girls basketball in Wayne County.
