MPD CALLS FOR SERVICE 10-07-24
We share MPD’s activity report to help you have a better understanding of the number and types of calls our officers respond to daily. This serves as a quick overview of the previous date’s calls for service. It does not include every detail related to each incident or traffic stop.
12:20 a.m. – Extra patrol request Monticello Village Apartments.
4:05 a.m. – Alarm activated at Lydian Jewelry. Building & premises checked okay.
6:18 a.m. – Business security checks, extra patrol overnight: Lair’s Florist, Daniel’s Place Barber Shop and Silver’s Hometown Pharmacy. All secure, no issues discovered.
10:51 a.m. – Request to speak to officer regarding possible child abuse/neglect.
12:16 p.m. – Out with male on North Main Street. Arrest made on active warrants.
12:30 p.m. – Request for officers at residence on Duncan Street regarding child custody issues.
1:48 p.m. – Caller reports male hitting female in gray car that pulled into O’Reilly’s Auto Parts on North Main Street. Officers made contact with male and female. Both denied any issues, female denied being assaulted.
2:36 p.m. – Extra patrol request for residence on Daughtery Street.
2:49 p.m. – Extra patrol request for residence on Kendrick Avenue.
2:58 p.m. – Request to speak with officer regarding arrest records.
9:10 p.m. – Male jumped from moving vehicle on KY 90 East (front of Huddle House). Seriously injured. Airlifted to UK Medical Center.
9:12 p.m. – Officers out at residence on College Street ATL individual for EPO service. Male came to MPD short time later and was served with EPO.
