Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron reports the following arrests.
Shirley E. Russell of Monticello, KY. was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-1st degree and possession of marijuana.
Homer Hunley of Monticello, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamines), possession of drug paraphernalia and persistent felony offender-1st degree. Hunley was also arrested on a Wayne County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to pay or show cause on the underlying charges of trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Antonio Cortez of Monticello, KY. was arrested for assault-4th degree (domestic violence).
