Rescue Squad was called out Saturday for Missing Man

On Saturday night around 9:45 PM, the Wayne County Rescue Squad was paged out to search for a missing 31 year old male on Sally Burnett Road. Subject had entered the woods around 4:30 to 5:00 PM to search for yellow root. Squad responded and had search teams and ATV’s in the woods actively searching and 2 boats responding to the area to search from the water when the subject was located. He had walked out and been picked up by a passing motorist. The search was called off and all units returned to base around midnight.
