(WBKO) – Game wardens from the 9th Law Enforcement District are investigating a boating incident near the mouth of Lily Creek on Lake Cumberland.
Initial information indicates two recreational vessels collided. One person has been airlifted to a local hospital according to Russell County Search and Rescue.
Officials are asking lake users to avoid the area as the investigation and search and recovery efforts remain active.
Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, Russell County Search and Rescue and Russell County EMS have responded.
