Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron reports the following arrests.
Christopher J. Thompson of Russell Springs, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for fleeing or evading Police-1st degree, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/substance (4th or greater offense), wanton endangerment-1st degree, no operator’s license, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle-1st offense, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance-2nd degree (drug unspecified), possession of a controlled substance-3rd degree (drug unspecified) and persistent felony offender-1st degree.
Jack Meredith of Monticello, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Warrant of Arrest for Probation Violation on the underlying charge of theft by unlawful taking or disposition.
Thompson was released from custody after posting a Bond. Meredith was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
