The following activity occurred from 12:01 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
2:00 a.m. – Extra patrol Mt. Pleasant Fellowship Church (community warming center).
5;48 a.m. – Business security checks, extra patrol overnight: Peddler’s Mart, Monticello Pet Clinic and Silver’s Pharmacy. All secure, no issues discovered.
10:00 a.m. – Complaint of vehicle partially obstructing traffic on Clay Street. Owner has new battery on the way. Vehicle moved.
12:37 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint on black Kia in area of North Main Street & Tradeway Shopping Center. Attempted to locate, negative contact.
1:59 p.m. – Request for officer on Allen Street regarding child custody issue.
4:12 p.m. – Traffic stop on Michigan Avenue.
5:03 p.m. – Request to speak with officer on Ridgewood Avenue regarding personal property dispute.
5:14 p.m. – Commercial alarm at Performance Feeds.
5:52 p.m. – Request to speak with officer in Rolling Acres. Caller wants to trespass individual from his property.
6:30 p.m. – Request for officer at Walmart regarding juvenile shoplifting and mother irate.
8:23 p.m. – Request to speak with officer on Hardwood Drive regarding issues with father during child custody exchange.
11:18 p.m. – Commercial alarm Family Dollar Store on North Main Street.
