This serves as a quick overview of the previous date’s calls for service. It does not include every detail related to each incident or traffic stop.
The following activity occurred from 12:01 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2025.
2:20 a.m. – Commercial alarm Don Franklin Motors.
2:48 a.m. – Extra patrol Mt. Pleasant Fellowship Church (community warming center).
2:58 a.m. – Commercial alarm Dollar General Store on Damron Drive.
5:29 a.m. – Commercial alarm Potter’s Ace Hardware.
6:14 a.m. – Business security checks, extra patrol overnight: F & H Drugs, H & R Block, and Brown’s Janitorial. All were secure, and no issues were discovered.
1:23 p.m. – Request to speak with an officer at MPD regarding a domestic dispute.
2:35 p.m. – Complaint of four vehicles driving recklessly (doing donuts) in Cumberland Crossing parking lot. All vehicles left prior to officer arrival.
4:38 p.m. – Request to speak with an officer regarding fraudulent transactions over the Internet.
6:13 p.m. – Request to speak with an officer regarding the fraudulent claim for unemployment insurance.
7:07 p.m. – Request to speak with an officer regarding child custody issues.
11:04 p.m. – Drug paraphernalia found on College Street. Disposed of.
11:05 p.m. – Male acting suspiciously in front of an apartment building at Mason Greene.
11:47 p.m. – Traffic stop on North Main Street.
