A HUGE thank you to instructor Alan Bell and the Wayne County Area Technology Center Gas Metal Arc Welding Class (GMAW) for making the trophies for last weekend’s Motorcycle Show-n-Shine. These trophies are always a big hit among show participants.
Suzanna Powell, Market Chair, proudly presented a donation to the Wayne County Area Technology Center Skills USA Club for their hard work and creativeness on this year’s trophies. Skills USA is a fantastic program and students who compete in this competition receive college/trade school scholarships. From ATC Principal, John Kinnett: “The Wayne County ATC Foundation does so much more than help kids attend state and regional contests. The Foundation has given thousands in scholarship money to students attending post-secondary training, they finance competition expenses for students in need, fund projects to make our community a better place to live and much, much more.”
