Louisville Public Media reported that Bevin was arrested while playing an extra on the set of a Christian movie being filmed in the area. WKYT has not been able to verify that information.

Bevin had an active bench warrant issued for his arrest in Jefferson County for contempt of court for refusing to provide financial records in a court case related to his divorce and child support for one of his adopted children, Jonah Bevin.

He had also been ordered to appear in court after missing several hearings.
