(WKYT) – Two former board members of a Winchester youth soccer league, charged with stealing from the organization, had their case sent to the grand jury during a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.
Ashley Ritchie-Rowland and Ben Dorsey pleaded not guilty to separate counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition between $10,000 and $1 million last month.
The two were arrested in June for allegedly using organizational funds totaling more than $70,000 for personal purchases and expenses.
Both Ritchie-Rowland and Dorsey are also members of the Clark County Public Schools Board of Education, but the charges are not tied to their activities with the school district.

The pair could only be removed from the school board if they are convicted and the attorney general initiates an investigation into the matter.
