Several law enforcement agencies, including KSP, have been searching for Phillips over the last five days according to Sheriff Marcum. He says they’ve followed several leads, searched many locations, and interviewed countless people.

Sheriff Marcum says there has currently been no success in locating Phillips, but they will keep searching and following leads.

He says its important to remind the public that assisting Phillips can result in charges of hindering apprehension (first degree), and that officials will prosecute to the fullest extent possible.

They ask any information be reported to TBI, the Pickett County Sheriff’s Office, KSP Post 15, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, or 911 if the situation feels alarming.

Phillips is believed to be armed and dangerous, and police say not to approach him.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) says there is a $2500 reward for the apprehension of Phillips, and more information on the reward can be found by contacting the TBI office at (615) 744-4000.
