Pulaski County Man is charged with attempted Murder

(WKYT) – A Pulaski County man faces several charges, including attempted murder, after allegedly attempting to run his girlfriend over with his vehicle after an argument last week.

Deputies from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence on Heaton Ford Road in response to a 911 call on May 25; on the way, the deputies were notified that units from the Science Hill Fire Department had requested assistance from law enforcement, according to court documents.

At the scene, the deputies identified 54-year-old Christopher Blevins as the man who allegedly attempted to run over a woman, who identified herself as his girlfriend.

Blevins’ girlfriend, according to court documents, said the two had gotten into an argument and that she threw rocks at his truck. After which she believed he struck her with his truck when she started walking away, throwing her to the ground.

Deputies spoke with two witnesses at the scene who said that they felt Blevins’ truck hit the residence, and when they went out on the porch, they saw Blevins’ girlfriend on the ground.
