Dallas Greg (Bubby) Koger

Dallas Greg (Bubby) Koger, born on July 28, 1977, in Somerset, Kentucky, to Russell and Virginia Koger; he made his final journey home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Sunday, May 24, 2026 reaching the age of 48 years.
He leaves behind to mourn his mother- Virginia Koger, his sister Samantha Daniel, his brother Scott Koger, 3 nieces: his twin trouble maker- Juniper (Shadey), Malaya and Nicole, 3 nephews: Dusty, William, and Dallas, aunts: Paulette, Mary, Glenna and Melissa, 5 uncles: Randall, Gene, Michael, Carson, and Jack of Florida, 3 great-aunts: Olive, Ila Dean and Carolyn, 1 great-uncle: Toby and many more family and friends.
Greg had a special lady of his life, he loved so dearly, Angela Fowler, who held a special place in his life, as well as her children, Logan and Racheal. He also treasured a dear friend, Tammy Hines, who was an angel to both him and his mom.
He was preceded in death by his father- his hero: Russell Koger, his brother/protector and body guard: Ricky Koger, and his grandparents Jeweline and Schuyler Anderson, and Clyde and Olive Mae Koger, uncle David Anderson, great-aunt Glenna Haynes, 1st cousin he thought the world of: Kamela Koger (Greg and Kammie were 2 peas in a pod), 1st cousin Raspberry Cole (who he got to lay eyes on 1st).
Greg was born a preemie baby, born at 5 months. He fought his way through many illnesses, having developed diabetes at the age of 15, losing both legs to the disease, receiving a kidney transplant from a stranger, the family never had the chance to meet but that had given his life so Greg could live longer.
Greg’s desire today is that each and every one would become an organ donor so others could have a 2nd chance at life. Greg was full of life, living life to the fullest not letting illness bring him down. He loved to trade on anything. He enjoyed remote control cars racing with his buddies, 4 wheeling, taking trips to Pigeon Forge and Florida and shopping on Temu.
His caregiver and his mother, Virginia, took the best care of him, like no other would. She was his angel of mercy, being by his side until the end.
