(WKYT) – U.S. Representative Thomas Massie has filed the necessary paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to run for Kentucky’s Fourth Congressional District in 2028.
In a social media statement released Monday, Massie said: “This allows me to raise funds to continue my political operations supporting my position as a current office holder and as a potential candidate for federal office.”
Massie said he has not made a final decision on which office he will seek if he runs again.
Last week, Massie lost the Republican primary to Ed Gallrein in one of the most expensive and contentious House elections in recent memory.
