(WKYT) – A man was arrested following a multi-agency search and arrest warrant for a man accused of illegally logging on a property, and several counts of animal cruelty, police say.
According to the Bell County Sheriff’s Department, 57-year-old Jeff Howard is facing charges for theft by unlawful taking with estimated damages of $510,300 after illegally entering property and logging. Police say he is also facing charges for criminal trespassing (second degree).

During the execution of the search warrant, police say Howard and the other residents at the home are facing charges for 33 counts of animal cruelty.
