(WKYT) – A man accused of kidnapping a Kentucky teenager pleaded not guilty in federal court on Tuesday.
Investigators say Delgado met a 13-year-old on a dating app and drove from Florida to Kentucky to pick her up last October. Delgado and the girl were found in Maryland just after Christmas, and he was arrested.
Delgado faces federal charges of traveling across state lines for illicit sexual conduct and attempting to use intimidation to prevent communication with a law enforcement officer.
He is also charged with kidnapping on the state level.
A jury trial is currently scheduled for Monday, May 4, 2026.
