The Wayne County Fiscal Court met Thursday and heard the first reading of the 2026 fiscal year budget which total over $18,000,000.
Since it was a first reading, no vote was required at this time. The Court approved adoption of 3 portions of roadway into the county. Approval was given for the municipal road aid agreement with the state. Departmental reports and an executive session was held before the meeting adjourned.
