Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron reports the following arrest.
Christopher J. Thompson of Jamestown, KY. was arrested on a Wayne County Circuit Court Indictment Warrant of Arrest for promoting contraband-1st degree and persistent felony offender-1st degree. Thompson was also arrested on a Clinton County District Court Warrant of Arrest for failure to appear on the underlying charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, possession of a controlled substance-2nd degree (drug unspecified), failure to produce an insurance card and failure of owner to maintain required insurance.
Thompson was released from custody after posting a Bond.
