MPD RECENT ARRESTS
Daniel Thomas Rood, 36, of Monticello, was arrested Monday (Apr 21) at 7:14 p.m. on Court Street by Sgt. Josh Smith. Rood was charged with DUI, No Registration Plates and No Insurance.
Monica Desi Rae Stinson, 25, of Albany, was arrested Tuesday (Apr 22) at 6:15 p.m. at Walmart by Sgt. Josh Smith. Stinson was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking (shoplifting $240.56 merchandise).
Brandon Edwards, 37, of Monticello, was arrested Tuesday (Apr 22) at 7:15 p.m. at the Monticello Police Department by Sgt. Josh Smith. Edwards was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (meth) after coming to MPD, producing a plastic baggie with a white crystal substance, asking that “his meth be tested to see if it had Fentanyl in it”. (Fentanyl=negative / Meth=positive)
Rood, Stinson and Edwards were processed and lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
