Run Report 4-18-25
At 07:31 AM Monticello Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle off an embankment on Ky-789. Personnel arrived on the scene and found 1 injured occupant. Wayne County EMS arrived on the scene and assumed patient care while fire units set up for a low-angle rope rescue to get the patient up the embankment for treatment. Personnel were able to perform the rescue without incident and the patient was transported by EMS to a helicopter that was waiting at Wayne County Airport.
Wayne County Sheriff’s Office performed scene documentation and investigation of the incident.
