Confidence is increasing in an overnight severe weather threat from Sunday into Monday. Damaging winds will pose the greatest risk as a line of storms moves east across the area. We encourage you to discuss preparedness plans with loved ones ahead of time, and be sure that you have multiple ways to receive warnings that can wake you up!
NOTE: There is a chance that storms will weaken as they move further and further east into KY. If the atmosphere remains more stable in eastern portions of the state on Sunday evening, the risk would be relatively reduced.
