Monticello Fire Department responded to 4 calls for service today.
#1 At 10:16 AM fire personnel responded to a motor vehicle collision on West Highway 90. This resulted in personnel responding to Wayne County Hospital for LZ service with Wayne County EMS.
#2 At 11:00 AM firefighters responded to the intersection of Ky 3106 and Kings Highway for a two-vehicle collision.
#3 At 3:58 PM the department responded to South Main Street for a single-vehicle collision that required extrication. Personnel also responded to the helipad at Wayne County Hospital for LZ service in relation to this incident.
#4 At 6:41 PM MFD responded to Gray Cliff Road to investigate a fire reported from Pulaski County. A small fire was located in a wooded area near Gourd Neck.
