Wayne County’s Fiscal Court met last night
Approved the hiring of Rodney Butcher for the Cyber Security position, the job will be funded for three years through a homeland security grant, the county would also receive new computers.
Appointed H.G. Hickey and John Kinnet to the Industrial Development board.
The court gave approval for the detention center to look into a grant that would provide money for a k-9 at the detention center. Also, the court approved the detention center to look into a Kaco grant totaling $10,000 to help with training.
