(WKYT) – Two people were charged in Lincoln County on Monday after sheriff’s deputies said that over 80 animals were found in poor conditions on their property.
Forty-three-year-old Radford Brock and 60-year-old Wanda Brock are each charged with a count of misdemeanor second-degree cruelty to animals.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies received a report of animal cruelty and hoarding from the county dog warden on a property off Kentucky 1948, according to an arrest citation.
During the investigation, they found 39 dogs in the front yard confined in crates and makeshift pens, with no access to food or water, and many sitting in their own waste.
After obtaining a search warrant for the residence on the property, officers discovered 32 dogs and 10 cats inside. According to the arrest citation, officers found a large amount of animal waste and debris.
