(WKYT) – The Somerset Fire Department rescued man’s best friend during a house fire on Wednesday.
Crews were dispatched to the 100 block of Todd Street and, when they arrived, the homeowner told them everyone was out of the house except their pets.
The primary team located the fire near the stove in the kitchen.
A secondary team located four dogs in the house and safely reunited them with their owners.
No injuries were reported for humans or dogs,
Crews used fans to clear the remaining smoke from the house, and no damage was reported.
