(WKYT) – Five people are facing drug trafficking and possession charges after a Williamsburg Police Department investigation.
According to police, the following individuals have been charged:
- Troy Cox — Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd Offense, less than 2 grams (methamphetamine); Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.
- Shane Roark — Two counts of Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, more than 2 grams (methamphetamine); Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.
- Leo Shelton — Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (fentanyl); Importing fentanyl; Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, less than 2 grams (methamphetamine); Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.
- Casey Caddell — Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, less than 10 dosage units (oxycodone); Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree, 1st Offense, less than 20 dosage units (Suboxone).
- Salenia Wilson — Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (methamphetamine); Promoting Contraband, 1st Degree.
Williamsburg Police said the charges follow a “thorough investigation” into local drug activity and that the department “remains committed to investigating drug-related offenses and keeping illegal drugs out of our community.”
