(WYMT) – Temperatures are falling and roads are becoming a sheet of ice across the region Sunday night.
Several police agencies are asking everyone to stay off the roads unless it’s an emergency.
Even major highways like Interstate 75 are reportedly slick and hazardous.
Temperatures are expected to drop into the teens and we may not get above freezing again for a week or more.
Light snow is also possible Sunday night.
Thousands of customers remain without power across southern Kentucky.
Many schools and businesses are already closed Monday.
