The following activity occurred from 12:01 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
12:15 a.m. – ABC compliance check Murphy’s USA.
12:49 a.m. – Request for officer on East High Street. Intoxicated 18-year-old female with suicidal tendencies. Mother transported for medical treatment.
4:00 a.m. – Foot patrol community warming center. (Mt. Pleasant Fellowship Church).
6:20 a.m. – Business security checks, extra patrol overnight: South Creek Mini Mart, Lake Cumberland Pawn and Linda’s Quilt Shoppe. All secure, no issues discovered.
1:11 p.m. – Request for officer to check suspicious bag (possible meth) at edge of parking lot at the Hope Center on West Columbia Avenue.
2:40 p.m. – Request for officer at Sunoco on North Main Street regarding suspicious acting male. Male arrested for intoxication. Female arrested on multiple warrants. Officer Casey Lang charged Howard Gilmore, 58, with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place and served Tracy Huckaby, 42, with three warrants for failure to appear in Wayne District Court.
3:59 p.m. – Request to speak with officer. Caller reports seeing stolen chickens in a residential yard.
5:08 p.m. – Structure fire on Beech Street.
6:50 p.m. – Traffic stop North Main Street.
6:50 p.m. – Prowler complaint on KY 3284 near Dollar General Store. Male located, was trying to find the community warming center.
6:56 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint red car on South Second Street. ATL, negative contact.
7:39 p.m. – Request for MPD/EMS at Mason Greene Apartments for unresponsive, but breathing, female. Transported by WCEMS.
7:49 p.m. – Request for MPD/EMS at residence on Blevins Drive unresponsive female found by sister. Coroner notified.
8:27 p.m. – Commercial alarm Tractor Supply Company.
9:40 p.m. – Reckless driving/harassment complaint older model Dodge Ram truck, black in color, in Cumberland Crossing parking lot then KY 1275 North. ATL, negative contact.
9:34 p.m. – Commercial alarm Tractor Supply Company.
10:29 p.m. – Foot patrol Walmart.
10:48 p.m. – Commercial alarm Tractor Supply Company.
11:10 p.m. – Reckless driving/DUI complaint on Suzuki vehicle on KY 3106, to McDonald’s drive-thru, then back onto KY 3106. Traffic stop conducted. Arrest made. Officer Brandon Bertram charged Luis Balmiori, 21, with DUI and Reckless Driving.
