5:08 a.m. – Business security checks, extra patrol overnight: JT Sign Shop, Immanuel Christian Academy and Monticello Christian School. All secure, no issues discovered.
1:45 p.m. – Escort for New’s Monticello Funeral Home.
1:59 p.m. – Officer out with two panhandlers at stop light #2. Advised of city ordinance, moved on.
3:09 p.m. – Request for officer at construction site on West Columbia Avenue. Caller reports wiring stolen from inside structure.
6:00 p.m. – Vehicle vs. structure on Homestead Lane at intersection with North Main Street. Arrest made for DUI and Criminal Mischief.
7:59 p.m. – Report of red SUV with no taillights in area of Walker Avenue. ATL, no contact.
8:17 p.m. – Traffic stop on Bean Street. Driver checked okay. Verbal warning for moving violation.
8:22 p.m. – Traffic stop on KY 90 at stop light #2. Verbal warning for moving violation.
8:24 p.m. – Request for individual to be removed from residence on First Street. Caller reports son & girlfriend have been arguing all day.
8:53 p.m. – Request for officer at Dollar Tree regarding shoplifter. Individual trespassed from store.
10:57 p.m. – Report of hit & run on KY 92 West. Initial information received. Vehicle/driver located.
