Three Motor vehicle Collisions Yesterday with one Featuring Injuries

Monticello Fire Department responded to three Motor Vehicle Collisions.
#1 – At 12:43 PM the department was dispatched for a two-vehicle collision on Morris Hill Road. No injuries were sustained.
#2 – At 4:08 PM firefighters responded to a non-injury collision at the 90/92 intersection. Personnel assisted with providing scene safety and removing debris from the roadway.
#3 – At 5:43 PM fire personnel responded to an injury accident at 90/92 intersection. Firefighters used extrication equipment to provide access to a patient for Wayne County EMS. The patient was a 17-year-old female who according to Police Chief Joey Hoover was operating a Kia and pulled into the pathway of an oncoming vehicle.  Once the Kia was struck it then was pushed into another vehicle which was sitting waiting to turn.
